SPIRALIZER RECIPE BOOK

This was fun, designing a recipe book based around a kitchen gadget most people have never heard of.

(Luckily we have one at home!)

18TH CENTURY CRIME COVERS

Here are four different designs I proposed for the repackage of a number of crime novels by Tessa Harris.

The books are all set in 18th century England.

HEAVEN’S BANKERS BOOK COVER

This is a project I have just completed for Constable Publishers. This was a tricky brief as the cover had to equally convey two elements: firstly the world of international finance and secondly Islamic culture. I have shown the three initial designs I presented to the client and then the final cover that was chosen

HEAVEN'S BANKERS COVERS.

JOYA RYAN BOOK COVERS

This is a project I completed recently for Piatkus Books. These books are literary erotica but the publisher wanted to package them without showing human figures or the normal small still-life metaphor (keys,jewellery/underwear). I thought of using flowers after looking at some paintings by Georgia o’keeffe.

Così fan tutte poster for ENO

I love this poster by Sam Hadley for the ENO, it perfectly captures the feel of a vintage book cover.

RICK RIORDAN EBOOK COVERS

Here are some ebook covers I recently produced for Little Brown. This was an exercise of producing strong covers within a tight budget. I have used fairly conventional library images but by adding some filters and textures I have hopefully produced a strong set of covers.

THE RICH

Here is a cover I designed recently. The book is a history of wealth from early civilisations up to the present day. Initially I presented the three designs shown here and then the client selected the single design with some changes to the typography.
